General Rules
-1.01. Discord Rules TOS and Community Guidelines will be strictly enforced.
-1.02. Rules listed at https://truckersmp.com/rules also apply here, namely §1 and §5.5

Channel Use
-2.01. Text and Voice channels should be used for their named purpose.
-2.02. Bot use is encouraged, but excessive use must be kept to #bot-commands.
-2.03. Spamming and overuse of @mentions is strictly prohibited.
-2.04. Arguments or otherwise irrelevant conversation should be taken private.
2.1. Voice Channel Specific
-2.11. Push to talk is not required if you have adequate noise suppression.
-2.12. Soundboards are permitted, but any malicious or offensive clips will result in a 24 hour server mute. Note: Duration will increase on repeat offenses.
-2.13. Playing music into your mic is not allowed (See rule 2.11)

Advertisements
-3.01. Self Advertisement (YouTube, Twitch, etc.) is allowed in moderation.
-3.02. Advertising other VTCs is NOT permitted and will result in a kick/ban on repeat offenses.
-3.03. Advertising your Etsy, RedBubble, etc. is encouraged but must be relevant and must your original works.

Nicknames and Avatars
-4.01. You nickname must be easily identifiable, no barcodes (IIlIIlIlIll) or emoji only nicknames.
-4.02. The first three characters of your Nickname must be alphanumeric so that other users can easily @mention you.
-4.03. Your nickname must not be offensive or innapropriate.
-4.04. Avatars must be suitable for work. Avoid any innapropriate, sexually explicit, and gory content in your avatar.
You will be asked to make changes to your Username or Avatar if they break any rules.

Moderation
-5.01. Moderators will use their own discretion when enforcing the rules.
-5.02. If you feel there was a mistake in moderation please PM @Source#2946 or email [email protected] with the details and it will be looked into.
